About the Theme (1 Cor 9:24-27)

We will be exploring St. Paul’s Spiritual Discipline as laid out in his first letter to the Corinthians: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.  Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we for an imperishable crown.  So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air.  But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.”

About our Speakers
We are thrilled to welcome Bishop ANTHONY from the Antiochian Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest.  He is well known throughout the Archdiocese for his singular dynamism and inspiring messages. Our beloved Bishop JOHN of the Antiochian Diocese of Worcester and New England will be in attendance and offer his ever-poignant perspective.

We are also honored to have Fr. Jason Roll and Mr. Vincent Minucci lead the afternoon breakout sessions.  Fr. Jason is the newy appointed national dierctor of the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Greek Archdiocese of America.  Mr. Minucci is the associate director for the Greek Orthodox Direct Archdiocesan District's Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

About Sonia’s Run
Please note the retreat will be held in conjunction with Sonia’s Run which is an Annual 5K Road Race held in memory of our beloved sister in Christ, Sonia Daly Belcher.  You are not required to run however if you wish to register for the race, you must do so separately at www.soniasrun.org.

If you have small children and plan to attend Sonia's Run, we will provide child care for you to stay to hear Bishop ANTHONY from 11:30 to 1:00 on Saturday. You and your family are also welcome to stay for lunch afterwards.  For this option we would ask for a $15 donation per parent.

Please contact Brendan Ferguson at brendanferguson76@gmail.com if you have any questions.
