Our Faith

The Holy Orthodox Church maintains historic continuity with the Apostolic Church, and preserves the faith and practices as defined by the first seven Ecumenical Church Councils as well as decisions from some local Church councils.  The word "Orthodox" implies both "right believing" and "right worshipping." The Orthodox Church sees herself as the bearer of an uninterrupted Christian tradition expressed by true faith lived out in worship of God.
